* Bachelor's, Master’s, PhD degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical) or related area* 3+ years of successful experience in Simulation Engineering; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., MS in a relevant field + 1 year, or BS + 2 years)* Demonstrates a fundamental understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer* Maintains a conceptual understanding of steam/electric and combustion turbine power plant cycles and equipment* Strong programming skills consistent with TRAX standards* Fluent with personal computers, operating systems and associated software tools* Maintains a professional demeanor with co-workers and with customers* Familiarity with at least one high-level computer language (i.e., FORTRAN, Java, C++, etc.)* Ability to work independently* Occasional domestic and foreign travel* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Highly developed analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a top priority* Advanced skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office* Must share a commitment to maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment while simultaneously optimizing individual performance and contribution
