Required Skills and Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) required; Master's degree desired* Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Test Engineer) desired* Fifteen (15) years of experience dealing with the T&E of weapon systems components, subsystems, and systems, including a demonstrated track record of successful T&E programs and successful collaboration on T&E teams* Expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive T&E strategies* Strong understanding of military standards and regulations related to T&E (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MILSTD-461)* Demonstrated training and mentoring skills, with the ability to effectively transfer knowledge and develop technical expertise in others* A commitment to objective assessment and continuous improvement is essential* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex test data and identify areas for improvement* Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to effectively work within T&E teams* Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and priorities in a fast-paced T&E environmentPreferred Skills and Qualifications* Significant experience working on highly complex and critical Department of Defense (DoD) related (any Service Branch) Test and Evaluation projects* Active participation in relevant industry standards committees related to T&E* Specific experience in military T&E methodologies, Test Planning, Instrumentation planning* Experience with the development and implementation of new approaches to executing a T&E mission* Experience creating solutions when gaps in T&E arisePhysical Qualifications
* The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment* Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time* Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time* Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs. unassisted* Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities
