Required Skills and Qualifications* Minimum of ten years increasingly responsible experience in supply and logistics operations toinclude total responsibility for a broad range of technical elements including mechanized supplyaccounting, purchasing, physical distribution, equipment management, and maintenancemanagement.* Experience within the last five years in a logistics operation activity. A minimum of five years ofsupervisory experience is required.* Formal military or civilian Government supply or logistics training is highly desirable. Specializedexperience with a firm/agency involved with government supply chain management, includingcontracting/purchasing that has equipped the applicant with a knowledge of the Federal AcquisitionRegulation (FAR), Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and a working knowledge of the principles; laws,regulations, policies, and procedures governing the Federal logistics and acquisition processes.* Experience with PCs and working with mainframe material management and accounting systems.* Experience dealing with commodity management/distribution desired.* Excellent written and verbal skills a must.* Must be proficient in Excel, Word and ERP/MRP system environment (SAP, ORACLE a plus).* Proficient with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
