Required Skills and Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience in safety management, safety engineering,environmental services, industrial hygiene, occupational environment health and safety, orrelated fields, plus 5 years of experience managing range projects in a like environment* Extensive knowledge of state, federal, and OHSA regulations* Understanding of ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2000 Quality Management System requirements* CMMI Level II knowledge* Experience with (52.223-19) Compliance with Environmental Management System* Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 135 Operating Requirements* Experience or familiarity with NASA Safety and Quality requirements* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft 365 tools* Certified Safety Professional training and current certification* Certification for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER)* Hazardous waste generator annual training certificate* Certifications as a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, Certified Safety and HealthManager, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Safety Management, and holds an active OSHAEM385, 40 hour certificationPhysical Demands and Working Conditions* The work of this position may be performed in an environmentally controlled office environment or outdoors * Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time* Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted* Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilitiesTerms of Employment and Eligibility Requirements
