Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Nuclear, Aeronautical, or Network) and/or Business from an accredited college or university* Five (5) years of demonstrated engineering and management experience on contracts OR projects with organizational responsibilities of a similarly complex nature and financial scope* Work experience AND demonstrated leadership responsibilities on at least two large projects or programs utilizing mechanical, computer, electrical and electronics engineering disciplines* Experience reviewing and approving the work of project managers, engineers, support staff and contract administrative personnel* One year of experience, demonstrated knowledge of, or education in the DOD acquisition process specifically related to the test career field* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with documented supervisory experience* Well-organized, results-oriented, energetic, team player with proven decision-making ability* Highly developed analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills* Skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office products and SharePoint* Must be able to support occasional travel (25% or less) as required CONUS/OCONUS* Experience in the testing and/or development of DoD systems is highly desirable
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
* The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment or in the outdoors of the test center* Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time* Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time* Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted* Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities
