Job Description

***Position Pending Contract Award***

Responsible for directing all TRAX security functions at a major DOD test facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Supervises and directs security measures within the facility.
* Manages all areas of the classified security program.
* Ensures compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
* Manages personnel security clearances, visitor control practices, and required physical and industrial security implementation, inspections and corrections.
* Develops, implements and manages document control procedures for classified information.
* Reviews and investigates security related occurrences.
* Coordinates security education and training with the workforce.
* Conducts periodic reviews of the security program to ensure effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Must have a Baccalaureate degree with at least three (3) years of experience in security administration; or equivalent year of experience with direct federal government or contractor supporting federal government contracts.
* Must have a Top-Secret security clearance.
* Must be a US Citizen.
* Required to take applicable training courses to understand fully the complexity of the requirements levied by their duties.
* Experience in developing and administering security procedures and programs for classified or proprietary materials and documents.
* Experience in coordinating and processing security clearances.
* Experience in implementing federal security regulations and obtaining rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.
* Experience conducting security education classes.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

* The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment and sometimes in the field where you are subject to the environment.
* Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
* Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time.
* Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted.
* Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.

Terms of Employment & Eligibility Requirements

* Must be a U.S. Citizen.
* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.
* Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.
* Must be able to successfully complete a background check.
* Must possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
