SUMMARY: In full coordination with the Information and Logistics Management Division act as a focal point for mechanical and general engineering designs, reviews and analyses. Develops and implements studies and engineering analyses and designs for space flight projects. Provides support to Project Offices as required.

EXPERIENCE
The work to be performed by this position requires extensive interface with internal and external organizations, including space flight projects to determine and identify the nature and scope of the instrumentation and project support work to be accomplished. The assignments in direct support of space flight projects require the development of engineering concepts and techniques as well as integrated logistics support plans. The incumbent must have at least five years experience in Mechanical Engineering or aerospace industry practices of which five years of practical application of mechanical engineering concepts.
EDUCATION
BS degree is required in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited University.
