TRAX International (TRAX) anticipates the future award of the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Support Services (ATSS) contract at the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) in Aberdeen, MD. TRAX has been a leader in the DoD test and evaluation industry since 1979, and brings strong leadership in providing test services to the Army Test and Evaluation Command and tri-Service Program Managers that is augmented and supplemented by a best-in-class subcontracting team to provide the innovation, depth, breadth and reach-back to address existing and emergent requirements for the ATC ATSS contract.

Assist the accounting staff operations. Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits. Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures. Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions. Prepares the bi-weekly Voucher to the government, prepares associated Project Summary Reports for government review, and reconciles all voucher back-up data. Performs statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes, and writes narrative reports explaining findings. Review, modify and enforce TRAX accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Service Contract Act, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and all relevant federal and state laws. Performs other duties as required to complete the assigned mission.
* Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or related area.* Be comfortable with advanced functions of Excel – including v-lookups, pivot tables, and running macros* Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), including Company Disclosure Statement (DS).* ERP experience; familiarity with Deltek Costpoint is a plus.* Database experience; familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint is desirable.* Must have a solid understanding of the accounting process and reporting applications.* Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.* Must be willing to travel.* Must have dependable transportation and a dependable means of communication.* Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.* Must have a well-mannered customer service attitude.* Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.

* Must be a U.S. Citizen and not hold multiple citizenships.* Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.* In compliance with the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force pursuant to the Executive Order 14042, employees working on a covered contract must have received all required vaccination dose(s) before your first day of work, or seek an exemption from vaccination as provided by law, such as an approved religious or medical/disability accommodation.
