Job Description

TRAX International (TRAX) anticipates the future award of the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Support Services (ATSS) contract at the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) in Aberdeen, MD. TRAX has been a leader in the DoD test and evaluation industry since 1979, and brings strong leadership in providing test services to the Army Test and Evaluation Command and tri-Service Program Managers that is augmented and supplemented by a best-in-class subcontracting team to provide the innovation, depth, breadth and reach-back to address existing and emergent requirements for the ATC ATSS contract.

Recognizes, assesses, and recommends controls for environmental factors or stresses in the workplace which may cause sickness or impaired health of personnel. Selects appropriate methods, plans and coordinates the details, and carries work through to its conclusion. Completed work is reviewed for soundness of analysis, the suitability of methods used, and for conformance with organizational analytical procedures and practices. Conducts work site visits, surveillance, and inspections to identify and validate engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment requirements, to ensure employees are protected from recognized hazards. Ensures that safety and health hazards associated with airborne contaminants, chemicals, noise, indoor air quality, vector-borne disease, ergonomics, and other industrial hygiene issues are identified and sufficiently mitigated. Conducts industrial hygiene-related promotional activities that encourage employee involvement in the Safety and Occupational Health Program. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in specialization or related discipline and 1 yr. applicable experience or have 3 to 5 yr. applicable experience in related discipline.
* Shall possess certification for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) within 6 months of employment.
* Shall possess hazardous waste generator annual training certificate.



Terms of Employment and Eligibility Requirements

* Must be a U.S. Citizen and not hold multiple citizenships.
Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
In compliance with the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force pursuant to the Executive Order 14042, employees working on a covered contract must have received all required vaccination dose(s) before your first day of work, or seek an exemption from vaccination as provided by law, such as an approved religious or medical/disability accommodation. Newly hired personnel must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
* Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.
