About the Opportunity:

Join our team of talented, high-performing, and mission-driven TRAXers as a Staff Accountant at our Corporate Headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada, where we provide support to more than 1,300 employees located across the U.S., Central and Latin America, and Asia.

The desired candidate will possess an accounting, finance, or business degree and at least three years in general accounting. Candidates with government contracting accounting experience are highly preferred.

Highlights of the Position:

  • Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounting
  • Process expense reports·
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed·
  • Assist with cash receipt process·
  • Interface with the Accounting Manager and other accounting staff on a daily basis·
  • Research and interpret data to answer accounting and financial questions·
  • Assist internal and external audit process, as required·
  • Able to apply knowledge of GAAP·
  • Perform general ledger and variance analysis·
  • Prepare documentation for DCAA, bank and financial audits·
  • Research and reconcile discrepancies·
  • Review and approve A/P vouchers for payment·
  • Audit and verify documents in general ledger and sub-ledgers·
  • Perform filing duties for the position
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned



  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area

  •  3+ years of successful experience in General Accounting

  •  Strong verbal and written communication skills

  •  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a top priority

  •  Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  •  Demonstrated experience in government contract accounting is a plus

  •  Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), including Company Disclosure Statement (DS) is a plus

  •  Experience in DCAA auditing requirement and process is a plus

  •  Intermediate skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  •  Be comfortable with advanced functions of Excel – including v-lookups, pivot tables, and running macros

  •  Ability to navigate through professional services or government contracting ERP systems

  •  Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint is a plus

  •  Must share a commitment to maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment while simultaneously optimizing individual performance and contribution


Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment

  •  Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time

  •  Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time

  •  Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted
