TRAX International (TRAX) is preparing a proposal for future performance of the Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) Test Support Services contract in Fort Huachuca, AZ. TRAX is a large business that has supported the Department of Defense since 1979 and currently performs services for the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) at Yuma Proving Ground, AZ; Fort Hood TX; Ft Greely, AK; and in the Republic of Panama. All positions are full-time and have generous health care, 401(k) and vacation benefits. Salaries are negotiable based on specific experience and proven performance.
Serves as the alternate PM in the absence of the Program Manager; assists in the management of the overall technical and administrative support activities of more than 800 prime and subcontractor personnel in the execution of test support services at the US Army Electronic Proving Ground (EPG). Serves as the alternate company point of contact for TRAX, with authority to fully execute contract modifications, subcontracts agreements, and any purchase orders. As an operational leader reviews test plans in terms of resource and workload allocations, resolve conflicts, updating milestone schedules, and ensuring adequate and timely test support is available. Assess projected workloads, compare to available resources in terms of numbers and available skills, and confer with TRAX EPG personnel on issues and need to supplement resources. Monitors contract deliverables to ensure all contract and test requirements are met or exceeded in accordance with Government guidance and regulatory requirements. Establish, approve, and ensure compliance with all EPG and Army policies and procedures. Coordinates with the PM, and serves as needed as a technical interface with the EPG customer (Test Officer and Test Team) in technical meetings and conduct program analysis to provide timely and responsive test support. Meets regularly with the TRAX PM and primary Government contacts, KO and CORs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Must have 15 years' experience with 5 years in research, development or test and evaluation; or must have a BS Degree and 9 years' experience with 5 years in research, development or test and evaluation; or a MS Degree and 7 years' experience with 5 years in research, development or test and evaluation.
3 years' experience managing 50 or more people in a technical environment.
Specific experience in the testing and/or development of DoD systems is highly desirable.
Secret security clearance is required.
