This position supports the U.S. Army Operational Test Command’s (USAOTC) Airborne Special Operations Test Directorate (ABNSOTD)mission at Fort Bragg. The position description posted here is for a proposal in support of the WESTECH International, Inc.

Job Description/Duties

Serves as a full-time, on-site, project engineer and data/site manager fully responsible and accountable for site operations and serving as the Airborne Special Operations Test Directorate ABNSOTD single POC for WESTECH. Participates in weekly, monthly, and quarterly ABNSOTD meetings and receives directions from the COR. Constructs technical and staffing plans for accomplishing the weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals of ABNSOTD. Plans reflect the ABNSOTD schedules and the site manager is required to discuss work plans, staffing, and compliance with requirements in detail in her response to the COR. The TAR notes that ABNSOTD conducts an average of fifteen tests per year and instructs the contractor to base the response to the TAR on that test load. Coordinates with distant-end participants, and provides engineering and specifications of replacement systems and equipment or introduction of new technology. Manages the audio and visual recording support for ceremonies, including connectivity to the press to facilitate coverage of events by local news sources. Provides classroom user training for the VTC equipment, LAN and Microsoft applications. Manages the internal cable TV network services and support on a local closed circuit television network.
Required Skills and Qualifications
    Five years’ experience supporting or conducting operational or similar testing. Prior government or military experience is desirable. 
    Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or associated discipline Required.
    • US Citizenship is Required
    • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card
    • Must be able to obtain a security clearance - Active Clearances are desirable
    • Must consent to drug testing; Continued employment is contingent on satisfactory results of drug testing
    • Valid State driver's license and car insurance for access to military installations and travel
    • Eligible for and be able to obtain a U.S. Government motor vehicle operator's permit for assigned class of vehicle
